The CO can supposit whatever it likes.
Generally, "foreign words" are uninflected (or inflected according to the original "donor" language) in most languages as long as they are still considered "foreign" concepts, but are inflected according to the rules of the new language once they become accepted and assimilated into the new language, at which point they become "loan words".

In Connemara, "foreign words" are simply being adopted as "loan words" faster than in some other dialects.
